I've found other people who've mounted other compact system cameras to a Phantom before, but never a Samsung NX300.
With my 16mm prime lens, it shouldn't be too heavy. But last weekend I did a massively bootleg mount of my iPhone 5 to the Phantom, and the balance was totally off resulting in some very wonky flight characteristics. Would you guys be interested in a documentation of how I plan to do this? No? Okay, well I'll do it anyway. :)

Yes to all of the above.

Ive seen (though haven't tried with mine) a NEX5N mounted to the bottom - as long as you keep it near the CG you should be good - would love to see pics of the setup!
Careful of your flight times and motor temp - I hear you'll be closer to 3 min of flight time with an MLC hanging off the bottom
